Utah Wedding Photography: Preserving Your Love Story
At Karisa Marie Photography, I focus on capturing the meaningful moments that define your wedding journey. I specialize in engagement sessions, bridal portraits, and wedding days or elopements, creating timeless images you’ll treasure.
Utah provides stunning backdrops for my work, whether it’s the elegance of LDS Temples, the natural beauty of outdoor landscapes, or the charm of local venues. Each location is chosen to complement your unique story as a couple, blending beautiful settings with authentic moments.
My goal is simple: to document your connection with clarity and care, preserving the memories that matter the most. Let’s work together to create images that you’ll look back on with pride for years to come.

My Philosophy on Immortalizing Love
Every love story is beautifully unique, and your wedding day is a reflection of that story. I believe in crafting a visual narrative filled with authenticity, emotion, and genuine connection. I focus on the small yet significant moments—fleeting glances, tender touches, and shared laughter—because these details weave the story of your day.
My passion for photography is matched by my dedication to celebrating and preserving your connection. I personalize my approach to highlight your personalities and relationship dynamics, ensuring your wedding photos are not only visually stunning but deeply meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
I recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 6-12 months in advance, to ensure your date is available. However, if your timeline is shorter, still reach out to see if I’m available—I’d love to try and make it work!
Do you travel for weddings outside of Utah and the Salt Lake City area? If so, what are the travel fees?
Yes, I do travel for weddings outside of the Salt Lake City area! Travel fees depend on the location and typically cover transportation and accommodations. I’d be happy to provide a custom quote based on your wedding location.
What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather on the wedding day?
I always come prepared with backup plans for bad weather. Whether it’s finding an indoor location or waiting for a break in the weather, we’ll work together to ensure beautiful photos no matter the conditions.
How many photos can we expect in the final gallery?
You can expect around 70+ photos per hour of coverage, depending on the flow of your day and the events captured.
What happens if we need to reschedule or cancel?
If you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate your new date. For cancellations, the retainer fee is non-refundable, but I’ll work with you to find solutions depending on the circumstances.
How do you help camera-shy couples feel comfortable during sessions?
I know not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s okay! My approach focuses on creating a relaxed, fun, and stress-free experience. I guide you with natural poses and prompts, capturing candid moments that show your genuine connection. By building trust and keeping things light, I help you feel confident, so your photos reflect your true selves. This is why it’s so important to do an engagement session or bridal session before your wedding day—these sessions help you get comfortable with me and being in front of the camera, making the big day feel even more natural!
Do you edit all the photos in the final gallery?
Yes, every photo in your final gallery is thoughtfully edited to meet my professional standards, including color correction, exposure adjustments, and retouching to enhance the natural beauty of each image. However, not every single photo taken during your session will be delivered. I carefully curate the best images—those that tell your story, capture key moments, and meet the highest quality standards. This ensures you receive a cohesive, polished gallery that truly reflects the essence of your day without unnecessary duplicates or outtakes.
