Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book you for our Draper wedding?
I recommend booking your wedding photography at least 6-12 months in advance to ensure your date is available—especially during peak wedding season (spring and fall). However, I understand that wedding plans can come together quickly, so if your date is sooner, feel free to reach out! If I have availability, I’d love to capture your special day.
What’s your approach to photographing couples who feel camera-shy?
I completely understand that being in front of the camera can feel intimidating! My goal is to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience where you feel at ease. I guide you with natural poses, fun prompts, and candid interactions to help you look and feel your best. Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable before your wedding, and I always make sure to capture authentic, heartfelt moments that reflect your love.
How many photos will we receive from our wedding day?
Every wedding is unique, but you can typically expect around 70+ edited images per hour of coverage. I focus on delivering a mix of stunning portraits, candid moments, and all the little details that make your wedding special. My goal is to provide you with a beautiful, storytelling gallery that allows you to relive your day over and over again.
What happens if the weather is bad on our wedding day?
Draper’s weather can be unpredictable, but I always have backup plans! Whether it’s using covered locations, waiting for breaks in the weather, or adjusting our timeline, I make sure you still get incredible photos.
Do you travel outside of Draper for weddings?
Absolutely! While I love capturing weddings in Draper and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley, I’m available for travel throughout Utah and beyond. If you’re planning a destination wedding or an elopement in a scenic location, I’d love to chat about the details. Travel fees vary depending on the location and typically cover transportation and accommodations.
What if we need to reschedule or cancel our wedding photography?
I understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change. If you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate based on my availability. Cancellations do result in a non-refundable retainer since I reserve your date and turn away other bookings. However, I’m happy to discuss flexible solutions if unexpected circumstances arise.
