Wedding Locations I Love in West Jordan
Salt Lake County Temples near West Jordan
Each temple showcases distinct architectural beauty and breathtaking surroundings, offering a stunning backdrop for your wedding day. Whether capturing the excitement of your grand exit, romantic couple portraits, or moments of celebration with family and friends, my goal is to document the genuine emotions and memories that make your wedding day extraordinary. Below are some of my favorite temples in the area:
Salt Lake City Temple
The temple grounds feature beautifully landscaped gardens, charming fountains, and remarkable historic architecture. Seasonal flowerbeds bring vibrant hues throughout the year, perfectly complementing the timeless elegance of the granite temple, which stands as a striking and iconic centerpiece.
Note: The Salt Lake City Temple is undergoing renovations and is scheduled to reopen in 2026.
Jordan River Temple
The expansive grounds include perfectly manicured lawns, tranquil reflecting pools, and colorful flowerbeds. The temple’s sleek, contemporary white design creates a dramatic contrast against the lush greenery, offering an eye-catching setting for photos.
Note: This location is highly frequented and can be quite busy, so careful planning is recommended to capture the best images without interruptions.
Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple
Nestled near a scenic lake, this temple offers a serene and picturesque backdrop. Its elevated location allows for sweeping views of the valley, adding a peaceful and majestic quality to the surroundings, perfect for stunning photography.
Draper Temple
Perched on a hill in Draper, this temple provides panoramic vistas of the Salt Lake Valley. The grounds are surrounded by pristine gardens and natural landscapes, creating a tranquil and photogenic environment.
Note: The Draper Temple is known for strong winds, which may require extra preparation to ensure smooth photography sessions.
Wedding Venues
West Jordan is home to unique wedding venues that cater to a variety of styles. Whether you’re dreaming of a grand ballroom, a cozy rustic space, or a modern industrial vibe, your wedding photos will reflect the ambiance of your chosen venue. Some favorites include:
