Our photoshoot began in front of a classic elevator at the Commercial Club SLC. The building’s intricate architecture and timeless elegance provided the perfect backdrop for April and Max’s stylish appearance. In this dimly lit corner of the venue, April and Max shared a bottle of wine and two elegant drinking glasses, creating a scene that felt both intimate and luxurious.
Just as we began to shoot, an unexpected twist added an element of drama to the session—a power outage hit the entire city block, plunging the venue into darkness. Rather than letting this unforeseen event halt our progress, we decided to embrace it by experimenting with direct flash photography. The direct flash illuminated the couple in a striking manner, highlighting their features and bringing their chemistry to life.
