Exploring Astrology Through Photography: A Stellar Shoot at Commercial Club SLC

A huge thank you to Tenth Muse House for hosting this captivating astrology photoshoot at Commercial Club SLC. With elements of air, earth, water, and fire woven into the shoot, the collaboration brought a unique and creative vision to life.
A Dreamy Air Element Set
Our shoot began with a focus on the air element, beautifully embodied by the ethereal glow of our model, Youri. This concept was crafted to evoke a sense of lightness and tranquility, which permeated every aspect of the session.
Wardrobe: Youri donned a sleek white turtleneck paired with light bottoms, complemented by cozy crew socks and fresh white shoes, along with a delicate necklace that added a touch of elegance.
Setting: We chose the main area of the venue, featuring high ceilings adorned with stunning chandeliers that cast a soft glow over the entire space, enhancing the airy atmosphere.
Props: To further enrich the scene, we incorporated fluffy white fabric and a striking gold mirror that created a beautiful contrast.
In this airy setup, we creatively draped extra white fabric around Youri, generating a soft, dreamy effect that elevated the visual narrative. Posing gracefully on a chair against the backdrop of pristine white walls and the intricately designed gold mirror, Youri’s opalescent glow truly enhanced the airy theme, making each shot feel as if it were captured in a moment of pure bliss. The overall aesthetic reflected the essence of weightlessness and serenity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the air element.
Fiery Aries Vibes
Next, we transitioned to the fire element, embracing a dynamic setup that truly captured the bold essence of Aries.
Wardrobe: We continued with the original outfit, enhancing the overall vibe.
Setting: The scene featured a table styled with vibrant red linens that added to the fiery theme.
Props: We incorporated matchsticks, cigarettes, elegant roses, red wine, and a lighter to elevate the atmosphere.
The red and fiery props created a striking contrast as Youri engaged with the scene, bringing a sense of drama and intensity. We played around with the lighter and other props, capturing the raw energy of fire through a variety of static and action shots. One highlight included Youri sipping on the rich red wine, perfectly embodying the passionate spirit associated with the fire element. This setup allowed us to explore the interplay of light and shadow, enhancing the overall visual narrative.

The earth element truly came to life in our next setup, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. At the center of it all was a striking chair draped in rich green fabric, beautifully complemented by an array of natural elements that brought the setting to life.

Props: The scene was thoughtfully adorned with a candle that flickered gently, a charming planter statue showcasing vibrant flowers, and an abundance of greenery that added depth and vitality to the arrangement.
Youri posed gracefully with the planter statue, enveloped by the rich tapestry of lush greenery and colorful blooms. This artistic portrayal channeled the essence of Venus, celebrating beauty in a stunningly earthy setting. The setup was a powerful reminder of the grounding and nurturing qualities inherent in the earth element, inviting viewers to connect with nature’s tranquil energy.
Elegant Marble Staircase Shots
For our final set, we decided to utilize the stunning marble staircase of Commercial Club SLC, which provided the perfect backdrop for our vision.
Wardrobe: Youri donned a stylish brown jacket that complemented the elegant surroundings beautifully.
Setting: The marble staircase, adorned with high ceilings and sparkling chandeliers, added an air of sophistication to our shoot.
Props: We incorporated a stool, table, and a bottle of rich red wine to create a cozy atmosphere.
We transformed the steps into a makeshift lounge with the stool and table, featuring the wine prominently. Youri’s poses with the wine against the elegant staircase backdrop infused the shoot with a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe, capturing the essence of a refined evening. The combination of the luxurious setting, thoughtful wardrobe choice, and carefully selected props made for a truly memorable finale.
