I recently had the privilege of traveling to the charming town of Helper, Utah for a unique family photography session. My client, K, wanted to prioritize their family’s privacy, so I’m excited to share some glimpses of this beautiful Utah family session, while respecting their request for faceless photos.
The location held deep significance for K’s family—a cherished family farm passed down through generations. This setting was an ideal backdrop, brimming with sentimental value and history, making every corner feel like home. To ensure grandma, the family’s heart, was comfortable during the shoot, we arranged our setup in the backyard near a serene water feature. Grandma settled into a rocking chair, and two of the family’s beloved dogs joined us, infusing the shoot with warmth and personality.
We also captured enchanting moments beneath the fruit trees of the orchard, where the golden Utah light infused the scene with a magical atmosphere. The field adjacent to the vintage vehicles on the property offered a rustic, nostalgic backdrop, adding depth and character to the session.

Before the session, I took some time to explore Helper’s historic Main Street, which is renowned for its rich mining history and delightful small-town charm. As I strolled along the quaint streets, I couldn’t resist stopping by the local favorite, Balance Rock Eatery and Pub, where I enjoyed a delicious meal that truly showcased the area’s culinary offerings. Afterward, I wandered through the old-time gas station and repair shop, which beautifully represents Helper’s unique character and nostalgic vibe, allowing me to feel like I had stepped back in time.
