For this session, I selected Memory Grove Park, one of the most scenic spots in Salt Lake City for bridal photography. The park offers a stunning variety of backdrops, from elegant stone structures and charming tree-lined pathways to a serene reflective pond, making it the perfect location to showcase bridal gowns.
Located just below the Utah State Capitol, this park is a year-round treasure. In spring and summer, it’s filled with vibrant greenery; in fall, it transforms with golden leaves; and in winter, it becomes a tranquil, snow-covered wonderland.
Tips for A Successful Photoshoot
Planning is crucial when shooting at Memory Grove, as it’s a popular destination for visitors, joggers, and dog walkers. To get uninterrupted shots, aim for early mornings or weekdays when the park tends to be quieter. Parking can be challenging on busy days, but additional spaces are available at the Capitol building, with a convenient staircase leading directly into the park.
